Looks like quite a few people have a SS86 Junkyard at the moment since we’re getting different photos/videos with it. Below you will see a picture of the game with screenshots of it in Chefatron’s Legacy Skids review. Junkyard is a more comprehensive retrofit of the SS86 Wreck Gar than some might imagine. We only know what it looks like in bot mode at the moment. Tell us what you think of this game!

Looks like some Junkyard screws bent a bit while smuggling out of the factory….

Nice retool work though – looks almost different than Wreck-Gar!

Comparing it to Wreck-Gar, everything has been reworked out of the box. a surprise.

It looks great.

I will buy more Junkions if they are interested in retooling them. Contrary to coloring seekers only is not enough. Some third parties may handle these things as they did the classic versions.

I would say at least one release is a safe bet. With all the retooling they’ve done, I’ll bet there’s a replacement head for Wreck-Gar and another for Junkyard tools, giving 2 more heads possible to release between the two bodies. This is without considering any potential uses for SG.

Very impressive. I guess most people expected Junkyard to only have a new head, but not only did he get a bunch of new body parts, he also got extra armor on his arms. I wonder if he really comes with the axe, I have my doubts.

While I don’t know if I “doubt it”, I certainly do hopefull This is not the case either.

For all we know, these wheels are Weck-Gar wheels too, and they don’t actually come with the Junkyard considering where they likely came from.

Junkyard looks very cool. I think I’ll get this, he has a cool factor talking to me

I think the ax might be legit. If you look at the Wreck-Gar, the ax handle matches the saddle bags of the bike that end up on his hips. In the Junkyard photo, this ax handle matches his hips, too. However, the gray plastic used in both variants appears to be slightly different. Obviously it could just be the pictures and lighting and the exact same shade is used in both shapes. But matching over parts in the same image is a good sign if nothing else.

Edit: I think the same goes for the red plastic for the blades and screws. So both parts of the ax are on sparrows with parts reused on both figures which is another good sign.

I’ve already seen one 3P upgrade for SS Wreck Gar, but hopefully we don’t need many upgrades for this template, because this extensive mod is proof that HasTak has finally learned the right lessons from all the 3p Junkions and previous upgrades, like all the echoes of a good old town leader which they infused into Siege Ultra Magnus.

It doesn’t mean we’ll get official upgrades for all Junkion has been seen on screen before, but if the Studio Series line continues to run the long haul between live-action movies, who knows?

I will buy at least 2 from this guy.

We’ve seen quite a bit of the Transformers Studio Series 86 Junkyard coming up and now we have more pictures to show you. These now include the alt mode which has a completely different look at the front than the Wreck Gar due to the folded arm. This works well in differentiating this bike pose from Wreck Gar and making it look like a robot entering fetal position, because the arms and hands are now hidden.

This game is due to hit stores around April/May, because it’s from Wave 2. The Wave’s companion is Soundwave from the movie Bumblebee, who also appeared in Wave 1. Junkyard is not an exclusive of any kind.
