Clarion Gaming has shared the official dates for this year’s ICE and iGB Affiliate. Although the original plan was for ICE London from February 1 to February 3 and iGB Affiliate London from February 2 to February 5, it has been postponed due to the outbreak of the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Now, the new dates for these two events are from April 12 to April 14 and from April 13 to April 14 respectively.
Both events will be held at ExCeL London
ExCeL London will host both ICE and iGB Affiliate events and the week will begin with the ICE VOX Conference scheduled for April 11. The first conference will be the Global Regulatory Briefing and the International Casino Conference. The iGB Affiliate Program will begin on April 13th and will host the annual iGB Awards at Troxy on the same day.
Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter stated that two reasons influenced the decision to pick the specific April dates. First, he said that after consulting with customers from all over the world, they came to the conclusion that the Omicron variant was too unexpected and made the market unstable.
Given the fact that the main objective was to provide a “safe and secure environment” for site staff, visitors and exhibitors, a decision was made to postpone and host the events in mid-April. As for why those specific dates were chosen, Hunter said Clarion Gaming has taken care not to clash with the Indian Gaming Expo and Conference, which is scheduled to take place in Anaheim, California, from April 19 to April 22. All in all, Clarion Gaming has shown its appreciation for American tribes, and recently teamed up with NIGA to empower the nation’s tribal community. Both parties stated that they were more than happy to work together and help each other grow.
Hunter took a moment to express his gratitude to the Indian Trade Show Games and Conferences and publicly thanked the organization for their support and understanding and concluded by saying that Clarion will continue to work hard, no matter how difficult the recent period has been and no matter what challenges the future brings.
More than 700 exhibitors will attend Excel London
While sharing details of the event itself, Hunter stated that this week has become the most important week of the year for many brands and buyers in the gaming world. He also added that this year’s ExCeL London will feature more than 700 exhibitors.
Naomi Barton, iGB Affiliate Portfolio Manager, says iGB Live! and iGB Affiliate Amsterdam, held in 2021, demonstrated the importance of in-person events and added that she was more than happy to secure new appointments just 6 months away from Amsterdam.
Barton concluded by saying that the main focus will be on building on iGB’s momentum and promoting its brand as the best in the world by presenting iGaming’s biggest event in London this year.
