Michelle Mendelovitz Stepping Down As 20th TV Head of Drama Development

According to a recent report by Variety, 20th Television’s Head of Drama Development, Michelle Mendelowitz, will be stepping down from her studio role at the end of the month.

She’s held this role less than two years ago, having previously worked as a creative executive at Apple, where she helped develop “For All Mankind,” “Servant,” “Visible: Out on Television,” “Severance,” “Defending Jacob,” and “Invasion”.

During her tenure at Disney, she oversaw the development of the series “Washington Black,” the upcoming Hulu/Star Original series “Tyson” and the new Disney+ Original series “Spiderwick Chronicles.”

Other projects she has worked on include the upcoming Disney+ series, “Swiss Family Robinson” and “Society of Explorers and Adventurers”, as well as the Hulu/Star Original “A Court of Thorns and Roses”.
