Real Madrid announce squad for La Liga match against Valencia
Written by publishing team

Real Madrid published their squad list for Saturday’s match at home against Valencia, with Vinicius returning after missing his last two matches with Covid-19.

Real Madrid team:

goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Diego.

Defenders: Militao, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Marcelo, F. Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas F, De Ceballos, Isco and Camavinga.

Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vinnie Jr and Rodrygo.

The main start is Courtois, Mendy, Modric and Benzema. Coach Carlo Ancelotti decided to give them some rest and they missed Wednesday’s game against Alquiano, so they need to be fresh to make an impact.

Real Madrid need to make a statement after their recent losses to Getafe and Valencia are tough opponents vying for Europa League spots so far this season. Former Getafe coach Jose Bordalas has done a good job and Valencia are a strong defensive side, so Real Madrid should expect them to sit back and wait for counter-attack opportunities.
