Stephen Markey wrote in his book, “Never has the United States faced an institutional crisis quite like the one it now faces.” Watchman. The political system is broken. The legal system is in disarray. Confidence in Congress has declined. Law enforcement leaders begin to defy federal orders as their ranks fill with white nationalists from the far right. “The right has admitted that the regime is in a state of collapse and has a plan: violence and solidarity with the treacherous extremist right-wing factions.”

There is an initial legitimacy crisis underway, regardless of who gets elected in 2022 or 2024. According to a University of Virginia analysis of census projections, by 2040, 30% of the population will control 68% of the Senate. Eight states will contain half the population. The poor distribution in the Senate overwhelmingly favors white, uneducated voters. In the near future, a Democratic candidate could win the popular vote by millions of votes and lose. Do the math: the federal system no longer represents the will of the American people.

The right is preparing for the collapse of law and order, but they are also outsmarting the forces of law and order. A far-right organization has now infiltrated so many police forces – the number of contacts in the hundreds – that they have become unreliable allies in the fight against domestic terrorism.

Markey’s advice: “Stack up the Supreme Court, turn off the obstruction, make Washington, D.C. a state, let the dogs howl, and now, before it’s too late. The moment the right takes hold of the institutions, they will use it to overthrow democracy in its simplest form; they are already rushing to repeal any standards that stand in The path to their full empowerment.
