Turkish CEO Named Chair of the IATA Board of Governors

Mohamed T. will start. Nani, who will be the first Turkish President of the IATA Board of Governors, will serve his term at the 78th Annual General Assembly to be held in Shanghai from 19-21 June 2022, succeeding the current Chairman of the IATA Board of Governors. Commenting on his appointment, Muhammad T. Nani: “I am very proud to assume such an important role. I will work tirelessly towards achieving these goals. We will overcome these difficult times by uniting our forces.”

Pegasus Airlines CEO Muhammad Nani, who served as the chair of the IATA audit committee during the previous term, remains a member of the IATA Board of Governors since his appointment in 2019.
